

Miriam “Mimi” Glueck (nee Weber), age 81, born June 21, 1942, passed away September 15, 2023. Mimi was a proud graduate of Shaker Heights High in 1960 and Ohio State in 1964. She married Michael Glueck a young doctor in Cleveland in 1966 and they were married over 50 years, moving to Boston and then Newport Beach, California in 1972. She was a loving mother to her two children, Jeffrey and Jennifer. She was a devoted daughter to her parents Anne and Leo Weber, who fled the Holocaust as German refugees in 1939. She was a teacher who taught immigrants English, children with learning or behavior challenges, and 2nd graders for many years in the Newport-Mesa school district. She earned her Master’s in Education from Chapman University in 1993 and taught a night school class on academic parenting for many years to people of all backgrounds. Her unconditional love, bright smile, and kind temperament made her widely beloved. She is survived by her sister Cheryl Weber Bartter and brother David Weber, and her son Jeffrey Glueck and his wife Amy, Jennifer Glueck Bezoza and her husband Ron, and 5 grandkids on whom she doted. Funeral and burial noon on 18th of September at Mayfield Cemetery 2749 Mayfield Rd., Cleveland Hts. Then our cousin Leslie Glueck Brown is kindly hosting an open house/lunch back at her house right after at around 2 pm at 60 Basswood Lane, Moreland Hills OH
