Neal Seth Fenster

August 9, 1947 – June 12, 2025

Neal Seth Fenster passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 9, 1947, Neal was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Lillian Fenster.

A dedicated and skilled electrical engineer, Neal enjoyed a fulfilling career before his retirement. Beyond his professional life, he was a passionate amateur radio operator and active member of local radio groups in Lake and Geauga Counties, where he built lasting friendships and shared his knowledge generously.

Neal is survived by his loving wife, Nina Fenster; his cherished brothers, Raynard “Ray” Fenster and Gary Fenster; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and close friends who will miss him deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lillian Fenster.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Bet Olam Cemetery. Shiva will be observed Sunday 10am-6pm, Monday 6pm-8pm, Tuesday 2pm-8pm, Wednesday 6pm-8pm, and Thursday 2pm-8pm. Location to be announced at the service or contact the family for details.

Neal will be remembered for his quiet strength, inquisitive mind, and the deep care he showed to those around him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched.
