The service for Peter was so special and I learned a lot about him
that I didn`t know, in spite of all the years that we have been
neighbors and enjoyed, as couples, so many fun dinners together.
Susie and Ken, you did a wonderful job ,sharing so many stories
about your life with your father and everyone felt the deep love
and respect you had for him. Peter was one of a kind and I , along

We also had a business deal or two together. He was always very prepared and knowledgeable and a gentleman. A pleasure to deal with.

On behalf of SPACES' staff, board, and artists, I want to share our deepest condolences. Peter Galvin was instrumental at SPACES' inception, providing a generous opportunity for our fledgling organization. 43 years later, we continue to be grateful for his support and love for the arts.

I met Peter in 1956 standing in line waiting to be drafted in the Army. He made me aware of a program available in the Coast Guard Reserve. We went to the Coast Guard Academy together and then spent 6 months on active duty. Finding out about that program had a significant impact on my life ! I have always been grateful to him for that.

Barbara, our thoughts and prayers are with Peter as well as you and your family. Peter gave a great deal back to the city he loved over the years and he was a mentor to many of us. He will be missed. Joe Marinucci

So sorry for your loss . Peter was such a wonderful man with a great spirit. I met Peter so early on when I came to Cleveland and he was always so helpful.   And we could always count on the two of you being at art events. Thinking of you and your family.

Peter was my mentor and friend. He hired me 14 years ago to lead America SCORES Cleveland. I honestly didn't think I was ready to take on this leadership position, but his belief in me and support helped guide me to become the leader I am today. Peter was a humble servant leader who made the world a better place through his optimism, perseverance, and dedication to the causes he was passionate about. I hope we can all take a moment to recognize this amazing man and continue to make a positive impact by serving others and acting selflessly every chance we can.

Peter Galvin reached out to me for my first business lunch when I moved to Cleveland.  He and his family were gracious to me & my family from the day we moved here.  Peter was truly a mensch and will be missed.  May his memory be for a blessing.
