Ralph Gilbert

Ralph Gilbert, age 90, beloved husband of the late Carol Gilbert, passed away peacefully. Devoted father to Randy (Tami), Rusty, Rodd (Lisa), Reed (deceased) Gilbert; Cherished Grandfather and “Papa” to Atlie Gilbert, Taylor Siper (Matt), George Gilbert, Chad Slomovitz (Maddie), Evan Slomovitz, Michael, Layla, and Emme Gilbert.

Ralph was a respected car salesman for over 50 years, known for his dedication and integrity. A passionate Cleveland sports fan, lifelong ball player, and avid cyclist into his late 80s, he proudly played softball with his sons and grandchildren until retiring at 80. He loved music, especially the Bee Gees and Al Green, and found great joy in supporting his grandchildren’s sports and music.

Ralph will be remembered for his competitive spirit, and deep love for family. And in his own words, he "touched all the bases."

Services will be held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz memorial Chapel 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Hts., Monday June 16 at 1:00pm. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at Elle Restaurant 33730 Bainbridge Rd, Solon, OH 44139 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING INTERMENT 4:00-7:30PM.
