

Rema Goldentsvayg, 91, of Lyndhurst, OH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Born on June 6, 1933, in Ukraine to Alexander Sterlin and Dora Tsesarskaya, Rema’s life was a testament to love, warmth, and family.
Rema was known for her deep affection for her family and her joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a gift for preparing meals that brought people together and loved spending time with her loved ones, whether sharing a meal or enjoying a moment of quiet. In addition to her passion for cooking, she enjoyed watching television, visiting the hair salon, and taking time for herself. Rema cherished the company of her friends and family, and her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Rema is survived by her beloved daughter, Inna Shvartsman, her cherished grandson, Alexander Shvartsman (Ludmila), and her adored great-grandchildren, Arel, Ester, and Leon Shvartsman. She was preceded in death by her parents and her devoted husband, Aron Goldentsvayg.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Berkowitz Kumin and Bookatz Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Bet-Olam Cemetery, Beechwood, Ohio.
