Rhoda W. Lefkof

RHODA LEFKOF (nee Weinstock). Born January 11, 1926, and proud graduate of Cleveland Heights High School. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Very happily married for 56 years to Ralph Lefkof (deceased), and loving, proud and supportive mother of three sons: Alan (Ann Gordon) of Tiburon, CA, Larry (Nancy) Lefkof of Troy, MI, and Jeff (Joan) Lefkof of N. Bethesda, MD. Grandmother to Drew, Katy, Teddy, Amanda and Dana. Loving sister to Lenore Brover (Leon, deceased), Selma Glazen, deceased (Martin Glazen, deceased), and Ivan Weinstock, deceased (Sheila Weinstock). Active volunteer in school PTA, Board of JCC of Cleveland, Jewish War Veterans, and Mount Sinai Hospital. Retired from the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School System, and moved to Carmel, CA to enjoy tennis, sun and family. Always would "lead from the heart", and made it her priority to put family and friends' priorities in front of hers. Service is Friday, October 25 at 11 AM at BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. TAYLOR ROAD, CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH 44118. Interment Mount Olive Cemetery (JWV Section). Family and friends may visit after interment, and Saturday evening (October 26) from 7-9 PM at the home of Sheila Weinstock, 3315 Clayton Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44120. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rhoda's beloved temple, Congregation Beth Israel, 5716 Carmel Valley Road, Carmel, CA 93923.
