Richard was an classmate and long time friend through even college at University of Wisconsin. Very sad to hear about his passing, and he will be missed

I remember Richard very fondly; he always treated me with respect  and appreciation. The time we spent working at Ello Furniture with Lothar (Larry) Molton were the best .  Those were the good old days.  He will be missed by many.

Todd, Brandon -- I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sorry I couldn't attend the ceremony in person, nor shiva with you and your families. 
Your eulogies (and Rosie's remembrance) certainly capture what I remember about your Dad, to an extent. His appearance personified these traits, at least in my mind. 
I remember most his sweaters and his moustache. He could certainly look the part of the intimidating curmudgeon, but I remember him as warm and friendly, with a great sense of humor. I’ll always think of him and Browns games, tying him to Cleveland, just as much as I tie the city to my Dad and vice versa.  
I remember him just as I remember your house growing up; the artistic side - from both him and your Mom - shining through these memories as a pair.

Dear Richard and Lindy’s sons and family- I am so sorry to learn of your Dad’s passing. Your Mom ‘discovered’ me while I was showing my furniture in Las Vegas and she insisted that I meet her Brother. Scott and I became instant close friends, and Lindy and Richard also made me feel a part of the ‘family’. I grew up in Glencoe and your Mom and Scott in Highland Park. My Dad was a friend of your Grandfather and they did some business together. Richard was always welcoming to Carisa and me at Market and in Ohio. We enjoyed his private tour of his art collection and dinners together. I’m sorry I cannot attend today as I am under the weather. May Richard’s memory be for a blessing.

Richard truly had a superpower: the ability to nap absolutely anywhere. Here’s proof—he managed to catch some Z’s at the red lights on our way to dinner in Milan this past April! That trip was full of laughs, and this moment will always be one of my favorites with him.

Todd and Brandon - our deepest sympathies on the loss of your dad.  We are out of town and unfortunately cannot make it to the service.  I knew Richard since Jr. High and shared lots of laughs and good times with him.  From golf (he was terrible) to bowling (he was also terrible) his company was always enjoyed.  He will be missed.
