Rita was a pharmacist by profession and a devoted homemaker at heart. She loved cooking, reading magazines and books, and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Her warmth, care, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Rita married her beloved husband, the late David Perkis, in Kishinev, Moldova, and together they built a life rooted in love and family.
She is survived by her son, Mike Perkis, and daughter-in-law, Ludmila Dobryakova; and her cherished grandchildren, Polina and Roman.
A funeral service will be held at Berkowitz -Kumin-Bookatz Memeoral Chapel on Thursday, Janaury 29, 2026 @1PM. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery 27855 Aurora Road, Solon, Ohio 44139.
