Devoted husband and father Bob (Robert Allen) Fishman passed away at the age of 69 after eight years of bravely battling health complications, making it to many simchas since his diagnosis. Beloved husband of Lisa (née Jacobs). Loving father of Courtney (Holden) Diamond. Dear brother of Ron (Peg) Fishman and Ellen (Pete Anda) Fishman. Brother-in-law to Karen (Barry) Saltzman, Sheryl (Rob) Felber and Gary (Yael) Jacobs. Cherished son of Betty and the late Albert Fishman and son-in-law of Flora and the late Alvin Jacobs.
A lifelong epicure with a storied career in the hospitality industry, Bob owned "The Grapevine" in Cleveland Heights for twenty-four years, and following, continued his passion at Heinen's. A collector of fine wines and Matchbox cars, Bob will be fondly remembered for his ability to make a short story long, roll a perfect Yahtzee score, and turn a stranger into a fast friend. His open heart, keen sense of humor, Jewish faith, and, most importantly, love for his family will live on through his wife of nearly forty years, Lisa. He joins his father Albert and father-in-law Alvin in the next vintage, where they will be watching Jeopardy, rooting for the Cleveland Guardians (née Indians), and looking over his soon-to-be first grandchild.
