To the Gutner family.  Bob and I were both cheerleaders at Sullivan high school.  We reconnected about 10 years ago.  He and I would e-mail back and forth.  He was my "friend-boy".  I just heard about his death in the Sullivan Alumni Sentinel.  I am still finding it hard to believe  my thoughts are with you.

Sending my deepest condolences to Bob's family.  I met Bob 25 years ago when he wanted to start doing business with me looking for closeouts for his furniture customers.  Over all these years, he became far more than my customer, he was beloved friend.  He thanked me continually for introducing him to many of my dear friends who could find him items also -  it was truly my pleasure.  He visited MN & I loved showing you guys around here. Our sincere condolences to Bobby's family. We were shocked to learn of his passing. We reconnected with our dear cousin a few years ago. He loved talking about the days when we were kids. We went to Phoenix last year to see him where he was visiting his brother. I talked to him a few weeks ago when he was in Palm Springs. I will miss him a lot. I''m glad I had the time with him that I did. RIP  We wish the family our sincere condolences and hope their memories will give them some comfort.

BobbyG was one of a kind.  For the past twenty plus years (including last week) whenever we left a voice message for each other it was done so in funny way.  We would start with an accent and midway through the message that accent would morph into another accent and when we finally connect we spent the first 5 minutes just laughing.  I did a lot of laughing with Bob.  He knew how to cheer you up and he knew how to have fun.  He was very dedicated to his family, friends, community and the Jewish community.  He was filled with passion and wore it on his sleeve.  While sitting at meeting the Board of the organization we were presenting to was not warming up to our suggestions.  So, Bob leaped on the table and starting sing Tradition Tradition.  He made his point that you should not just do something because you have done it before.  They caught on had a major success, because of Bob.  A fellow Chicagoian he loved Cleveland.  He will be missed by all who knew him and were touched by him.  We all lost a good friend. The community lost a passionate leader  Karen to you and the family our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

The world lost one of the good ones.  My sincere condolences to Karen, Ken, Bob's entire family, and all his friends.  His humor and free spirit will be missed.

Bob (or Dad East as I called him) will be certainly be missed.  He was a good man and I'll miss seeing his Cleveland-focused sports takes via email or text.  My condolences to Karen and the rest of his family.

Bobby G. was a very special person and it will be a very long time before another person like him will come along. Bob was a kind and caring person who would give you the shirt off his back. My wife, Judy, and I feel blessed that we were able to spend his last night when the four of us went to dinner Saturday night. Bob was his usual happy, joking and laughing self. We went to an Italian restaurant and he said he had the best pizza of his entire life. Little did we know this would be his last pizza.
Karen, both Judy and My heart go out to you, your children and grand children.

Bob, Judy and I loved  you and will continue to love and cherish the time we spent with you until it's our time to leave this earth.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, one that I share with you!  Bobby was the ultimate friend, one that I will (and do) miss greatly.  He always had a kind word for everyone.  He was my "ultimate buddy" and workout partner @ LA Fitness & the Hillcrest 'Y'.  I'll especially miss "sharing" meals with him when we ate out with the ROMEO's.

It's your neighbor Sheila. Bob, you were so glad to have a nurse next door, but there was nothing I could've done to save you. Last evening, I pulled out a few of your weeds- the last thing you told me was how much you hated to see weeds. There are no weeds now in your heavenly home. Karen, my sincerest condolences. I'll see you soon at one of the gatherings. It's still so unbelievable! You were blessed to have been married to one of the most wonderfully  charming men I've ever met. I am so saddened by the horrible news I received yesterday, still shaking my head in utter disbelief and numb to the core. I have and will always have great memories of Bob. He was truly a great man, an amazing husband, awesome father and cherished friend. I feel so honored to have him be a part of my life. I am so many vivid memories of the days he used to come over to our house on Lyndway and sit downstairs in the basement with my father, just laugh at so many things, especially all the craziness in the world. Bob commonly referred to me as "Junior"... To this day, I can still hear his voice as it will never soon be forgotten.  Karen, we go back many years, well over 48 to be exact. I love you dearly and will be there for you and your family anyway I can be.  Both Melissa along with myself extend our deepest and more sincere condolences. I am hopeful that both my Mother and Father are reunited with Bob and sharing lots of laughs together.
