I am heartbroken to learn of Bob's passing.  I have so many wonderful memories of times with Bob, from working at the jewelry store to spending time as friends.   Bob was my faithful friend and sidekick in the early 90's - we took care of each other.  I could always count on Bob to be there with a smile, hug and kind word.  I wish I could have been there for him in the end.  You'll always be in my heart, Bob.  I love you!!!!

My heart is heavy with sadness this morning as I just learned of Bob's passing today.  So many memories, so many stories, so many fun times and smiles were shared between us.  No matter how many miles or time went between visits our friendship always picked up right where it left off.    I met Bob first in Beachwood Mall and soon after joined his team at Mann Jewelry where I was blessed to meet his mother Grace and spend days on end listening to all of her wonderful stories.  I love you Grace, I hope Bob let you know I asked about you all the time.  I still cherish those years to this day.   I never had the opportunity to meet Lauren, but Bob seemed very happy and I was happy for him.  He truly wanted to be loved for the amazing man he was.   My deepest condolences to all of the Mann family.  I was so proud of Bob and all of the generous gifts he made to help so many people.   His love for art, the Hurricanes and so much more was very clear!  I truly was fortunate to call him my friend.   I'll always love you Bob!  Grace, I send you my love and hope you can feel my arms around you.   I wish I had known.   I will visit him in his final resting place to say goodbye.    I will miss him very much, but hold onto his memory and smile in pride for all the goodness he brought to this world and to my life throughout the years. Bob  we will miss you     .     I was there the day you were born , and thru all our childhood with Tom as children .  Summers spent  swimming  geauga lake , fishing and boating at our house, and on and on.  You accomplished so many wonderful milestones.   Love Bonnie and Chris.

Profoundly saddened to hear of Bobby's death.  I considered him my friend, no matter what.

Bob was one of the most humble and understated people we know.  After having breakfast for many years at Pomperdale's and Mom's we never even guessed at all the generosity he had until I read this obituary. Such a remarkable man is certainly missed by us.

My sincere condolences to Lauren and Family. We will miss him. I will miss him.

Bob and I grew up together in Shaker and became fast friends. I last talked to him after he put Loren and Penny on a plane to Cleveland as Irma was about to hit land. I told him to grab a plane and come stay with us. We talked about the coming storm, his diabetes (as a fellow diabetic we compared notes), and how he was feeling. I was shocked today to learn of his passing. He found such happiness and love when he married Loren and doted on Penny, their dog. They took her everywhere, even when we all went out to eat. Bob will be missed by all but his generosity will not soon be forgotten. Goodnight sweet friend and God speed.
