Robert S Turoff

Robert (Bob) Turoff (age 87) of Beachwood, Ohio, passed away after a lengthy illness on April 21, 2025 surrounded by family. Bob was a caring and loving father of Geoffrey (Debra), Michael (Dianne), and David (Ellen), and stepfather of Tamra Ackerman (Stewart) and a cherished and doting spouse to Maxine Leikin. Bob was the grandfather of Lauren, Arica Cohen (Nathan), Sydney, Lindsey (fiancé Ryan), Noah, Jordana, Gershon (Malya), Moshe, Shmuel (Toiba-Sarah), Asher, and great grandfather of Lyla Cohen, Avigail and Talia Ackerman and uncle, cousin and friend to many. Bob was preceded in death by his adoring and devoted wife, Laurel and protective brother, Jack and sister-in-law Carole.

Services will be held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 South Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118 on Thursday, April 24th at 12:00 PM with burial following at Mt. Shiva will be held at The Village Community Room at 26000 Village Lane, Beachwood, OH 44122 immediately following the burial on Thursday until 7PM, Friday 1-5PM, and Sunday 1-4 and 6-8PM.
