A Cleveland native, Roger grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio where he graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 1965. Roger attended the University of Arizona where he fell in love with the mountains and deserts of Tucson and after graduation, enrolled at Case Western Reserve University Law School.
After practicing law for several years, Roger continued his career in 1978 at the Cuyahoga County Public Defender’s Office. He then worked as an Assistant United States Attorney from 1983 until 2013 where he was part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation or a charity of your choice. The family plans to have a celebration of life at a date and time to later be determined.
