Just heard about Roger's passing.  So sorry for your loss.  Like many of the others who have posted here, I knew Roger when I was at Penton.  Always enjoyed his company.  He was very funny and witty.

No words can express my shock to hear of Rogers passing. I received your holiday letter and as I read each line a sadness came over me. I met both you and Roger at Penton many years ago. During those years we all became a family.  Great memories.

I just heard of Roger's passing last month. I was fortunate to have worked with him at Penton and respected him a great deal. Smart. Very funny. Wonderful at making connections with people. Me deepest condolences to his family.

I am so saddened to hear of Roger's passing. He was my Editor for 10 years at Penton and I so enjoyed working with him. He was extremely smart and funny, and though he tried to hide it, had a truly good heart.  My deepest condolences.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Roger at Penton for several years in the 90s. He was a great guy with a terrific sense of humor. We would talk about our kids a lot and I remember him saying how he felt it was a privilege just to know his. He was a great friend and colleague.

We read about Roger today and are overcome with sorrow. Of all the people we have come to know over the years in all the many places we have lived, none compare with our IPC group of friends from long ago. I always liked Roger he had a quick wit.  Evalyn I am so sorry for you and the family.  His sufffering is now over.

My beloved Uncle Roger, my Father Reed's only sibling, passed away Sunday in Cleveland, Ohio. With a wry sarcastic sense of humor, Roger was indeed Patriarch of the Morton family -- Son. Brother. Husband. Father. Uncle. Grandfather. Friend. -- He was also a gifted artist: A prolific writer/editor and an extraordinary photographer. My Uncle Roger was one of my most favorite people on this Earth. I loved him very much and was beyond proud to be his Niece. He shall be missed by so many people. RIP Uncle Roger and may God bless and watch over your loved ones, just as you are doing now from Heaven.

Evie, my sympathies go out to you and your family.  I loved Rogers sense of humor and his quick wit, he was a pleasure to be around.  We traveled to Mexico City when we started Logictica Total magazine.  Roger knew the language but would never let those we met with know that.  At the end of the day he would sit down and relay to me what they were saying to each other.  We always laughed about our Mexican adventure.

I met Roger years ago while working at Penton and, like many others, appreciated his intelligence, wit, and humor. After leaving Penton, from time to time we would run into each other in the Heights area. The same qualities that made conversations with  him on a workday such a pleasant experience were still there, and I always left our exchanges with a smile. Condolences to all family and friends.

Had the pleasure of knowing Roger for years as his meat purveyor.  Every phone call...every time he came to our store....it was an opportunity to laugh.  My deepest condolences to his family and friends.  A bright light is now shining elsewhere.

I remember him from my first full time job at IPC - Penton.  He was so funny and nice to get along with.  I will always remember him.

I am so sorry about your loss.  'Uncle Roger' was a wonderful man, who had a sense of humor that resonated to anyone who met him.  He and I shared some funny conversations, in truly unique situations.  Those memories will stay with me forever in my heart.  I was blessed to have met him, through your very dear niece, Debbie.  She will be a valuable support for the entire family, so I find comfort in knowing you will have her love and support.

I am very sad and surprised to hear this.  I remember us all being at baseball games and birthday parties like it was yesterday.  A great guy with a wonderful sense of humor as well.  He will be truly missed.
