

Rollyn F. Goldberg was born September 7, 1938, in Toledo, Ohio to Bernard H and Gyta A Freed (both deceased). She is survived by her beloved son, John (Rabbi Sharon) Marcus; cherished granddaughters, Becky and Noa Marcus; dear sister, Peggy (William) Greenawalt and brother, Bob (Nancy) Freed; adored aunt of her nephews and nieces, and a special niece and loving cousin to the entire Arsham family. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Jerry M. Goldberg.
Rolly graduated from Shaker Heights High School, attended the Garland Finishing school and Boston University School of Fine and Applied Arts. She returned to Cleveland and became the first woman account executive at a major advertising agency. Rolly retired early from a successful career in advertising and public relations, becoming an inspiration and guiding force for three generations of her family who followed in her professional footsteps. She enjoyed a life of leisure at Beechmont Country Club in Cleveland and Hunter's Run in Boynton Beach, Florida, where she delighted in golf, cards, good food and wine, chocolate, and wonderful friends. She returned to Cleveland to be closer to family as she battled Dementia. The family would like to thank the team at Helen's Place and Klein Pavilion Hospice (formerly Maltz Hospice) for their kindness and outstanding care.
