Ron was so much fun to work with -- and so kind, as well. I worked with him at the CJN for only 3 years, but he brought such a sense of friendliness and inclusion to the CJN offices  that over the 20 years since my time at the CJN , I was always delighted when I had the chance to run into him  He brought good energy into the world.  May his memory be for a blessing.

Even though I didn’t know Ron my mother Marilyn and I were friends of his mother Claire and  I want to send my sympathies to the family.  May his memory be a blessing and may he rest in peace.

Ron was our Cleveland Jewish News  representative for many many years!  We were so happy to have him as our friend!  Ron will be missed!

I wish I knew that he had passed.  We (Williard House staff) would have attended.  He was a great guy who all of us respected a lot.  

When I bought WH.... He literally was probably the first tenant I met with a "Hi I am Ron - your longest tenant.  I have an apartment I love - do you want to see it?"

And that was Ron......   I know his move was difficult for him mentally.  Stay here or move to Florida.  Once  he made his decision - he never looked back.

Good luck my friend - Heaven is full of people who you will meet and have fun with.... And another place you can decorate.

My deepest condolences on the passing of our dear friend, Ronald Greenbaum. Ronald was truly one of a kind—fun-loving, outgoing, and endlessly full of life. His joyful energy brightened every room, and his appreciation for art and beauty was reflected not only in the way he lived, but in the immaculate home he cared for with such pride.

Ronald’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a beautiful soul, inside and out, and his memory will forever live in our hearts. May we find comfort in knowing that his laughter, his generosity, and the love he shared will never be forgotten.

Our deepest sympathies in the loss of your Ron.  We were Willard House Apt. neighbors for 16 years, and he was such a wonderful friend—even attending our house warming when I moved out, bought a house and got married.
My husband and I will truly miss him and his friendship.

I met Ron many years ago through work. He was more than just my CJN rep. He was My Friend for all those years. I don't think he ever met someone that he didn't like.  I will miss his bubbly "Hi, It's Ron" greeting  every time we spoke, his warmth & kindness and our "Linners" together. Often times, we would both be so busy that we'd speak late in the day while eating our lunch at 4/4:30 or later. At this hour, it was too late for lunch & too early for dinner, so Ron named them our "Linner" dates. We shared many "Linners" together. I will continue to have "Linner" with him in my heart. RIP My Friend.

I met Ron on the beach a few years ago along with his friends Bob and Carlos.   We've been friends ever since, chatting by phone frequently and making plans to travel together and to visit him in his new apartment in Cleveland.   His warmth and love and good heartedness and sense of humor were palpable, and I will truly miss his soulful friendship.

So sorry for your loss. I only spent time with Ron for a short time in Pittsburgh, but I'm so glad I had that time with him. I do believe I got to know him and felt his joy in getting to know me.

Ron was a patient and friend for years. He was kind, sensitive and always ready to lend an ear. We lost touch during Covid but he will be warmly remembered 🥰

I’m so sorry to hear about Ron.  I knew Ron for many years .I advertised in the Jewish news for many years when I had my own business . Ron was my rep like he was for over 40 years for so many of his customers.  He was always extremely attentive and detail oriented did the best for his customers . I hadn’t seen Ron in awhile but had just run into  him a few weeks ago at the Miles Market when he told me he finally  moved after 40 years from his Bedford heights apartment Beachwood.  I am saddened and will miss him deeply…
