Ruth Robbins

Ruth H. Robbins (nee Eisenberg),age 94, beloved wife of the late Allen Robbins. Loving mother of Kenneth (Phyllis Kahn) Robbins, David (Marcia) Robbins and the late Jonathan (Wendy) Robbins. Devoted grandmother of Laura, Leslie, Stephen, Ashley, Jared, Lisa and Michaela. Great grandmother of 2. Dear sister of Elaine Rose Ellis and Paul Eisenberg. Private family graveside services will be held Sunday, July 1 at the Mayfield Cemetery. Family will receive friends at ANSHE CHESED FAIRMOUNT TEMPLE 23737 Fairmount Blvd. Beachwood, OH. SUNDAY, JULY 1st 1:30 PM-4:30 PM. Friends who wish may contribute to the Cleveland Sight Center or the Jewish Family Service Association. Ruth graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1942 and served as a member of the reunion committee. Ruth worked for over 20 years in the Shaker Heights Schools Library Media Center (cataloging books). and Volunteered over 1000 hours with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and also with the Cleveland Sight Center. Ruth also ushered at nshe Chesed Fairmount Temple and was a member of its sisterhood. The family would like to thank the many staff at The Weils of Bainbridge for their care and kindness of our mother and grandmother while she was a resident there.
