Sandra E. Amber, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away on January 10, 2026. She was born on February 6, 1943, to Isadore and Dora Einhorn in Cleveland, Ohio.
Sandra was a devoted elementary school teacher for over 20 years, where she inspired generations of young minds. Her passion for learning and her dedication to her students left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of being in her classroom.
Outside of her professional life, Sandra’s true joy was spending time with her family and friends. Whether hosting holiday gatherings, sharing stories, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with loved ones, Sandra's warmth and generosity made her the heart of her family.
She is survived by her loving son, Steven Amber; her beloved grandchildren, Joshua and Madison Amber; her brother Lester Einhorn; and sister-in-law Marilyn Einhorn. Sandra was preceded in death by her late husband, Gerald “Jerry” Amber; her parents, Isadore and Dora Einhorn; her brother, Melvin Einhorn; and sister-in-law, Eleanor.
A Private Graveside Service Funeral Service was held. Interment was at Zion Memorial Park.
Sandra’s memory will be forever cherished by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and unwavering devotion to family, friends, and her community.
