Sanford Fox

July 13, 1937 – September 27, 2026

Sanford "Sandy" Arnold Fox passed away peacefully at his home on September 27, 2026, with his daughter, Melissa, at his side.

Sandy was born in Cleveland on July 13, 1937, to Edward and Fay Fox. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and then served three years in the U.S. Air Force in San Antonio, Texas. He returned to Cleveland, where he married, started a family, and established his endodontic practice.

He was the beloved husband of the late Sheila Fraigun Fox; adoring father of Melissa, Drew (Beth), and Eric (Melissa); and proud grandfather of Ethan, Grayson, and Sidney.

Sandy was a generous and passionate supporter of the arts, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Jewish Federation, and Parkinson's research in the neurology departments at University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic. He always said his greatest accomplishments were his children.

Sandy had a gift for talking with anyone and made lifelong friends wherever he went. His warm smile made everyone feel special. He will be dearly missed.

Services will be held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Hts., Sunday, October 11 at 11:00AM. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. To view the service, please scroll down to the Services Section and click on “JOIN LIVESTREAM”.

Family will receive friends at Beechmont Country Club, 29600 Chagrin Blvd., Orange SUNDAY 1:30-6:00pm.
