Sarra regularly attended services at Park Synagogue after immigrating to the United States from Moldova with her family in the 1990s. She was an expert in cross-stitch, a wonderful cook, and an avid fan of word-search puzzles, which she enjoyed as a way to keep her memory sharp. She also remembered the phone numbers of family members living around the world.
The last of her generation, Sarra will be dearly missed by her daughter, Irina Bondar; her grandchildren, Anna (Jeff) Host and Helena Bondar; and her great-granddaughter, Ella Host. She was predeceased by her husband, Yelik Vaysman; her brother, Leonid Vinogradsky; and many cousins.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 18, at 1:00 p.m. at Bet Olam Cemetery, 25796 Chagrin Boulevard, Beachwood.
A private shiva will follow.
