Scott Kovarik

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scott Kovarik, beloved father, grandfather, educator, musician, and friend, who left us on December 9, 2025. Born to Frank a Kovarik and Donna Petti on June 16, 1961, Scott lived a life filled with love, passion, and a deep commitment to the arts.

A dedicated educator, and a gifted musician. He found joy in sharing his love for the arts with others, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. Above all, Scott cherished his time spent with family and friends, and he leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and creativity.

Scott is survived by his sons, Aaron, Sam, and Jared Kovarik; his grandson, Asher Kovarik; his loving life partner, Tina Stapleton; his sister, Nikki Glick; and his brother, Craig Petti (Marla). He was predeceased by his parents, Frank Kovarik and Donna Petti and his daughter, Amber Kovarik. Scot will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd. Cleveland Hts. Followed by interment at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Scot’s memory to American Cancer Society.
