Dear Singer Family,

I am so very sorry to hear of Shari's passing. She was an inspiration and a wonderful person. I guess after our kids - Samantha and my daughter Alyssa left high school - you loose touch with the people in your community. My daughter just told me about Shari. My heart goes out to you and your family. Our prayers are with.

Dearest Rob - Not sure if you remember us, but we were in a lamaze group together and even bumped into each other in the hospital when our beautiful baby girls were born December, 1994.  Remember our joint 3 year old B-day party?  We have incredibly special, loving and happy memories of our time together before we moved to Michigan.  We were absolutely devestated to learn of Shari's passing when we happened upon it on Berkowitz&Kumin's website.  Shari was beautiful (in every possible way) and I'm so so very sorry for your incredible loss and that we lost touch with you guys over the years.  May G-d watch over, protect and comfort you and the kids, and give you strength through Shari's incredible love that is eternal.  We will keep you all in our prayers. I am deeply saddened by the loss of Shari.  I sang with her in the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus for many years, and she was such a joy of a person, a wonderful singer, and a great encourager and friend to me and so many others. My deepest sympathies to Rob, Samantha and Zachary upon hearing this very sad news.  Shari was our unofficial 11th dormmate our freshman year at UVA .  She will be greatly missed by all of us even if we didn't see each other very often.  She will remain with all of us in spirit !

Shari was a talented singer, leader, mother, and wife. I share in your sadness and celebrate her life and all she stood for. My condolences.

Rob, Samantha, and Zachary--words cannot adequately express the loss we share with you. Hardly have any of us known a more generous and loving person than Shari. Her death creates a hole of enormous proportions. As one who has known her from the day she first joined the Orchestra Chorus, I have an inkling of what an amazing person she was.

To Shari's family and friends,   I am so saddened by her passing.  I also sang with her for many years in the COC and remember her as a wonderful lady in addition to being a fantastic musician.  She will be sorely missed by all who knew her!

Shari was one of my sister Hilary's closest friends. I got to know her and family well and always felt like a friend of Shari's in her presence. When you define the statement "salt of the earth" this was who Shari was. I send love and support to Rob, Samantha and Zachary. Please know how much you were loved and how lucky she was to have you in her life.

My deepest sympathy to Shari's family and friends.  I knew Shari as the awesome chair of the American Cancer Society, Relay For Life of Solon, Ohio.  I was her ACS staff partner.  She was always so dedicated, compassionate and caring.  She loved her family so much.  Rob, Samantha and Zachary, may it give you some comfort to know that she made a difference in many lives, including mine.  I am so sorry for your loss.

We were deeply shocked and saddened by Shari's sudden death. We never had the privilege of meeting you, but heard so much about you from Sinead who, many times down the years, spoke of this lovely lady, and we always regarded you as a good friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rob, Samantha and Zac at this very sad time.
