Preceded in death by dearly beloved husband, Ronald, and sister, Hermien Schneider, she is survived by daughters Maureen Klein (Jeff), Randi Wolfe, Kim Lausin, and Erin Doyle (Tom). Shirley’s greatest source of pride and happiness were her four daughters, eight grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
No matter what role she played, what job she held, or what sporting event she participated in, Shirley’s dynamic personality and generous spirit always made everyone around her feel welcomed, included, and valued.
She had a love of life and a determination to enjoy each minute to its fullest – a determination she generously imparted to those she left behind. Shirley was self-confident, true to herself, and always straightforward and sincere. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a deep wisdom rooted in Yiddish culture that she inherited from her mother, and a passion for sports that she shared with others fully and without apology.
