

Born on December 6, 1946, in Ukraine to Bernard and Esther Kofman, Simon built a life rooted in hard work, love, and community. A skilled builder by trade, he took pride in his work and the life he constructed both professionally and personally.
Simon was a devoted father and grandfather who found great joy in spending time with family and friends. He loved playing golf, cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers, and sharing laughter and stories with those closest to him.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Leah Holzer and Dan Kofman (Emily Kirschenbaum), and by his cherished grandchildren, Lauren Holzer and Asher Kofman.
He was preceded in death by his sister; Leah Lebovich.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Zion Memorial Park in Bedford, Ohio.
Services have been entrusted to Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
