Stanley Theodore Rosenblum passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026, with his loving wife of 67 years, Beth, at his bedside. Stanley was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 26, 1934, to Morris and Gertrude Rosenblum.
He was the beloved brother of Harvey Rosenblum (deceased), brother-in-law to Joanne, and brother-in-law to Barry Bassett (deceased) and Pamela. Stanley was a devoted father to Janis Roskoph, Steven (Ellen) Rosenblum, Karen (David) Clar, and Lisa (Michael) Bass.
He adored his grandchildren: Adam (Emely) Roskoph, Bradley (Lauren) Roskoph, Alison (Christopher) Hilbert, Mark (Jessica) Rosenblum, Sidney Rosenblum, Lauren Clar, Emily Clar, Kayla (Matthew) Banchek, and Ryan Bass. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Anakin, Luka, Isaac (deceased), Maya, Skylar, Harvey, and Noah.
Stanley served his country as a radio operator on a Destroyer in the United States Navy and later graduated from Fenn College with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After many years designing generators, antennas, and sound systems, he became an entrepreneur in the Heights area, where he was well known and affectionately referred to as “The Handyman.” Stanley also established an “in-home income tax return” business.
His many hobbies included gardening, fishing, bird watching, leaded-glass, golf, and—most of all—sharing his love of life and knowledge with his family and his nephew, Matthew. One of his major hobbies was traveling to 49 of the 50 states, Israel, and Europe.
Stanley’s love, generosity, and honesty will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stanley’s memory may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve or the Alzheimer’s Association.
