Steven John Wallack

Born on June 10, 1964, to Alan and Barbara Wallack, Steven lived a life filled with warmth, humor, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. A devoted fan of Cleveland sports and The Ohio State Buckeyes, he found joy in cheering on his teams, spending time with family and friends, and taking on all kinds of handyman projects. His generous spirit, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his gift for making others smile will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Shawn; his children, Christopher “Sadie” Wallack, Mathew “Brigid” Wallack, Jason “Kara” Laffey, and Joseph “Jacqueline” Laffey and Bryan “Johanna” Garber; his brothers, Robert “Bobbi” Wallack and Richard “Gina” Wallack; and ten beloved grandchildren, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Barbara Wallack, stepson, Michael Garber and his stepmother, Sandy Wallack.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Solon, OH.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.

Shiva and the meal of consolation will be observed from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grantwood Golf Course, 38855 Aurora Rd., Solon, OH 44139.

Arrangements have been under the supervision of Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
