Fishman, Sylvia Della (nee Wymor). Age 100. Passed away April 18, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Morris: devoted mother of Elton; loving aunt of Eileen Schein, Marilyn Bayer and Ron Kretsch; great aunt of Peter Schein and Kate Waisman; dear sister of Lawrence Wymor and the following deceased: Lucille Bayer and Gloria Kretsch. Services will be held at Berkowitz–Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Hts. Sunday, April 23 at 12:30 PM. Interment Mt. Sinai Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Cedar Center Apartments, 14050 Cedar Road, University Heights, OH 44118 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING INTERMENT SUNDAY UNTIL 5 PM. Sylvia enjoyed life, laughing, singing and dancing in her wheel chair even on her 100th Birthday. She said” you needed to accept life as it comes and sing when you are upset”. Sylvia was blessed to receive the care, compassion and friendship of Mrs. Hattie Smith during the last eight years of her life. Sylvia also received wonderful care from the Kindred Staff at The Fountains and Stratford Commons.
