Tauber Simeon Kornblut

Tauber S. Kornblut age 90, died March 4, 2024. "Taub" grew up in Ansonia, CT and graduated from Boston University. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army at which time he moved to Cleveland. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 year, Joan (nee Fox). Loving father of Russell (Kris) Kornblut, Joel "Hank" (Kelly) Kornblut, Robert (Ranelle) Kain and the late Ron Kornblut and the late Marci Kornblut. Devoted grandfather of Hannah and Max Kornblut, Rachel Ferguson, Nathan Kain, and Ali and Catie (both on the autism spectrum) who he and Joan have been raising since the death of their mother in 2006 and great grandfather of Roland and Ellis. Dear brother of Marjory (Robert-deceased) Potts.

Taub was in the outdoor building supply business his whole career, the last 20 years as General Manager of ABC Supply in Mentor, Ohio. He rooted for the Cleveland sports teams except when they played the Red Sox or the Celtics, but the Browns were always his favorite football team since he was a big fan of Jim Brown. "Taub" had season tickets to each team for many years.

Taub was a member of The Temple-Tifereth Israel since his marriage to Joan in 1974 and they have been residents of South Euclid since 1975.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 6 at 2PM at the BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL 1985 S. Taylor Rd. Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the residence of Kelly and Hank Kornblut 2878 Green Road, Shaker Heights, OH. WEDNESDAY FOLLOWING SERVICES AND INTERMENT UNTIL 8PM, THURSDAY 2PM-4PM AND 7PM-9PM.
