Vivian was the beloved wife of the late Sanford Shafran; loving mother of Ira (Anita) Shafran, the late Norman (Donna) Shafran and the late Michael Shafran; devoted grandmother of Alyse (Joe) Muttillo, Jamie (Alan) Feuerman, Ian (Nicole) Shafran, Eric (Ashley) Shafran, Tyler Shafran, Adam Shafran and Evan Shafran; great-grandmother of 15; sister of the late Roz Meclovsky; and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Above all else, the most important thing in Vivian’s life was her family. She expressed her love for them in countless ways, but perhaps most memorably through her kitchen. An incredible cook and baker, Vivian was especially known for her famous apple cake. Vivian also had a love for antiquing and was a talented potter who, despite having arthritic hands, continued creating beautiful pieces by hand.
