William S. Cohen

William "Bill" S. Cohen, age 92, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 16. Devoted husband of the late Dorothy (nee Caplin). Adored father of Lonnie (Michael) Wiener and the late Denise (Rafi) Hami. Cherished grandfather of Yael and Jonathan Hami, Rachel and Zach Wiener. Loving brother of Tillie Coppersmith and the late Ben and Max Cohen and uncle to Linda Coppersmith and Jay Weiss. Bill valued friendships as he stayed close to his high school and college buddies throughout his life. Neighbors were a huge part of his social life as well. Bill touched everyone he met with grace and humility. He will lovingly be remembered for his quite and subtle wit, his ability to always see the positive in a situation, and his overwhelming kindness and caring spirit. Bill had a twinkle in his eye and in his personality. The family wishes to acknowledge the caring staff at Montefiore and Hospice. Services will be held Monday, December 18 at 2 PM at the BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL 1985 S. Taylor Rd. Cleveland Heights, OH. Interment Mayfield Cemetery.
