Yaffa Adler Levy

YAFFA S. LEVY (nee Adler), age 88, was born July 22, 1928 and died July 4, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Reverend Eli Levy; devoted mother of Morris Levy, Isaac (Brenda Dyer) Levy of Philadelphia, Jonathan (Marcia) Levy of Powell, OH and Karen (David) Knoll of Sydney, Australia; loving grandmother of Zoe Levy-Dyer, Josh and Alex Levy, Avi, Brian and Nathaniel Knoll; dear sister of Moshe (Yona) Adler of Israel and the following deceased: Mordechai, Natan, Naphtali and Nechama. Yaffa was always quick to open her home and table to strangers, especially around holidays - she joyfully practiced the message from the Passover Haggadah "Let all who are hungry come and eat". Yaffa is now reunited with her beloved husband who undoubtably will greet her bedside with a cup of coffee each morning. Funeral services will be held at Park Synagogue East, 27500 Shaker Blvd., Beachwood on Sunday, July 9 at 2 PM. Interment will take place in Bet Olam Cemetery. The family will receive friends SUNDAY FOLLOWING BURIAL UNTIL 7 PM, MONDAY AND TUESDAY FROM 6 – 8 PM at Park Synagogue East. Minyan at 5:30 PM Sunday, and at 6 PM Monday and Tuesday.
