Zakhar Grinberg passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
Born in Ukraine to David and Khaya Grinberg, Zakhar earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and enjoyed a long career as an instrument engineer. He was dedicated to his profession and approached life with curiosity, discipline, and integrity.
Zakhar had a lifelong passion for professional sports and made daily exercise an important part of his life. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family and friends, creating lasting memories with those he loved.
He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted daughter, Larisa Pavolotsky (Konstantin); his beloved grandson, Felix Pavolotsky; his sister, Bronislava Krogan (her late husband, Israel); and his sister, Raisa Griss (her late husband, David).
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Sinai Cemetery in Mayfield, Ohio.
