Alice H. Wilson

Alice graduated from St. Edwards High School in 1950. She was married to Luther Don Wilson Jr.(deceased) in 1951, for 25 years. In this union was born six children, twins Donna (deceased) and Michael, Verona (deceased), Cheryl, Lisa, and Bernadette. Later, she met Herman Thomas Bey, her beloved partner of 45 years.

She retired as an Office Manager from Community Guidance and Human Services in 1998. After her retirement she continued to work part-time for a law firm. Alice especially enjoyed cooking for family gatherings. She was a passionate reader, she loved doing puzzles and watching movies.

Alice departed this life on October 8, 2019.

Leaving to cherish is her older sister Loretta Lykes and sister-in-law Clara Pryor. Her children Michael Wilson (Every), Cheryl Jacobs (Tracy), Lisa Spencer, Bernadette Robinson (Leron). Grandchildren Darlene Wilson, Delores Wilson, Asia Patterson (Delbert), Deborah Wilson, Gregg Spencer, Michael Wilson Jr, Anna Wilson and Alisa Spencer. Great grandchildren Darlene Wilson II, Tymicia Wilson, Delorian Barker, Andrique Barker, Donaiz Barker, Kierra Wilson, and Grey Spencer; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Leaving to cherish her companion Herman Thomas Bey.
