Andrea Alicea passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on January 29, 1942, in the Barrio of Yaurel, Arroyo, Puerto Rico, she was the beloved daughter of the late Andrés Alicea and Nora Ortiz. As the second eldest of 15 siblings, 8 brothers and 7 sisters, Andrea grew up enveloped in the love and closeness of a large, devoted family.
She was the wife of the late Benjamín Pedraza and a devoted mother to her four sons: Benjamín Jr., Hugo, Roberto, and Daniel. Her love and legacy continue through her seven grandchildren—Benjamín III, Joseph, Joshua, Alicia, Andreina, Jailene, and Daniel Jr.—and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Andrea was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness whose life was a testament to her deep spiritual conviction. Her radiant spirit shone through in her passion for dancing and singing, and her quick wit and humor brought joy and laughter to everyone around her. Her warmth, joyful presence, and unwavering faith touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be remembered always with love, and profoundly missed
