I wanted to share with her family my sadness at having just learned of Aurora's passing. She was a truly wonderful person with whom I had the honor of spending time over the past years. She brought a smile to my face at every visit. She was resilient despite the many family tragedies she suffered. We have all lost a very, very special person and my thoughts are with all of her family. I will never forget her!

To the Ortiz Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom Dona Aurora.  Even though I had not seen her in a long time I still remember the old days when we shared close friendships all growing up in the projects.
