Brenda was awesome. She had a contagious laugh and a wonderful smile. I always loved it when she came to visit at Grams’ house. We would sit and talk for hours and I would get all the stories about things that happened before I was alive. She never treated me as a kid and would always make me feel loved. She gave the greatest hugs. She would always share the last biscuit with a glad heart. At all the holidays she would come over and help prepare food baskets and would make sure others were served first. At times she had struggles but she never gave up and faced life with a smile. I wish I was so flexible during my tough times. That’s not to say she was a pushover. She was a fighter and could get as mad as an old wet hen when someone messed with her (you know who you are - ha ha). The world lost a great soul when Brenda left us, but God has welcomed her home and Heaven is a brighter place today. I miss you Brenda.
