Carol Ann Aldridge, born November 8, 1935, joined the Lord in paradise on Wednesday October 5, 2016. Carol peacefully journeyed to her heavenly home as she listened to Amazing Grace. Treasured wife, and high school sweetheart, of the late David Samuel Richardson. Dear mother of David Curtis Richardson (deceased), Joel Richardson of Salisbury, NC, and Hali Abner of Cincinnati, OH. Beloved grandmother of Joshua and Carrah Aldridge of Columbus, OH; and Logan, Luke, Landyn, and Lily Abner of Cincinnati, OH. Cherished sister of David and Kathy Merriam of Dunedin, FL. Adored daughter of the late Dorothy and Sylvester Merriam of Cleveland, OH. Carol’s generous heart, courageous spirit, commitment to faith, keen sense of humor, graceful character and kindness, will never be forgotten. Carol loved her family, friends, crafts, cooking, painting, antiques, music, writing, story-telling, animals, children, and Jesus. May our beloved artist continue to paint the sky with love.
