To God Be The Glory for the life of Sister Brown. I was a member of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church where her family formerly worshipped. She would visit in later years to honor the memory and service of her parents to that congregation. As my hair now changes, I would smile to see her signature hairstyle. May the family claim the power of the Holy Spirit today and always. Trust in the Lord always! Proverbs 3:5-6.

Auntie Carolyn, girl, my heart is hurt, but still I am joyful that you are reunited with so much love that went before. 
I just know your welcome celebration was a time! I can almost hear the raucous laughter and joy in the homecoming. 
We know we must all leave this life, but that knowledge does not balm the heart from hurt. I will miss you and I love you always.

Picture this, the year was 1995 and all my southern cousins and I were spending the Xmas holiday in Cleveland, OH. This was our first time seeing snow to this magnitude! We all begged to shovel snow and on our third day no one wanted to see let alone shovel snow anymore. Cousin Carolyn, called Cousin Karene and said, “You tell them kids, they can’t stop shoveling until they do mine!” (LOL) I will miss her dearly. Love you Cousin Carolyn, rest well.

I will truly miss Carolyn aka Ma. I've known her half my life. The pleasuring of being apart of her family. I pray she lives on through her granddaughter , my Daugther Kennedy . Carolyn was  sweet and honest person . I have so many memories . Love you , Carolyn .

I met you as my best friend's mom, but along the way you became my fairy godmother. You were always generous in spirit, fiercely independent and oh so jazzy.  Thank you for never missing an opportunity to show up for me or my daughters.  We thank God for your life and will miss you immensely.
