On August 5, 2025, the world lost a one-of-a-kind spirit when Christopher Tyrone Brown, 41, passed away peacefully in Baton Rouge, LA. Born June 3, 1984, in Cleveland, OH to Carolyn S. and the late Paul Tyrone Brown, Christopher lived life out loud full of laughter and love. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest; and sister, Leatrice Brown.
Raised in Cleveland’s Lee-Harvard neighborhood, Christopher graduated from Eleanor Gerson High School in 2002. After two years at the University of Toledo, he began his work journey, which took him from Toledo back to Cleveland, then to Atlanta, and finally to Baton Rouge. Along the way, he made friends like family everywhere he went.
Known affectionately as “LUCKY” and “DOITALLBROWN”, Christopher could and would take on any job. Big or small, he’d flash that grin and say, “This ain’t nothing, I got this.” But it was in the trades, especially
plumbing, where he found his passion. As a proud member of the Local Union No. 198 in Baton Rouge working toward his journeyman license, he loved every part of the job from fixing the problem to calling up friends and family mid-shift just to say, “I’m out here getting to it.”
Christopher’s greatest joy was being dad to his three girls: Kennedy Leatrice (14), Christen Tyra (12) and Londyn Leatrice (19 months), lovingly nicknamed Pooh 1, Pooh 2 and Pooh 3. They were his heart, his
motivation, and the center of every story he told.
He accepted Christ at a young age, was baptized at Mount Nebo but continued worshipping with his family at Second Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where he sang in the youth choir and served as an usher, and most recently joined Agape Christian Center in 2022.
If you knew Christopher, you knew when he entered the room not just because you saw him, but because you felt him. His laugh could fill the air, his playful teasing was his way of showing love, and his presence had a way of turning any gathering into a good time. Whether he was at a family cookout for five minutes or five hours, you knew he was going to make his rounds, crack a joke and leave everyone smiling.
Christopher enjoyed a fulfilling life filled with meaningful work, close family, and lasting memories. His legacy is one of laughter, loyalty, and love that will live on through his daughters, his family and all who had the joy of knowing him.
Christopher leaves to cherish his memories: 3 daughters, Kennedy, Christen and Londyn; as well as his mother, Carolyn; aunts and uncles, Kareen Campbell (Curtis), Jacqueline L. Gritney, Jeanne A. Jones
(Angelo), Carlton R. Brown, Charisse R. Nevel and Andre F. Brown, Joyce M. Maddox; and his fallen Angels, Yvette L. Ceasor and Ava Y. Weakley; grandparents, Solomon & Ileane Walker Stonewall & Hattie M Brown and countless family and friends who will forever carry his laughter, love, and spirit in their hearts.
