Daniel Clark

October 11, 1933May 28, 2021

Daniel Clark was born October 11, 1933, both his parents preceded him in death. His name Daniel is a biblical name, it was defined as God is my Judge. He was named after his late grandfather. In the bible Daniel was thrown into the Lion’s den to be devoured. But God sent an angel to protect him, and he emerged miraculously unharmed. The next day an angel came to Daniel and said, “a man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you, be strong and of good courage.” The angle told Daniel to do three things, fear not, peace be with you, be strong. How strong Daniel was. With conversation with Uncle Dan he stated he didn’t know why he was still here because all of his siblings had preceded him in death. We told him it was because he was the Golden Child. He was known by some as Daper Dan because of his suave behavior. Dan was a true example of a man with impeccable character. He was very independent and educated. He obtained an Associates Degree while attending Cuyahoga Community College. He enjoyed going to school even in his late years. He also loved riding the bus, it was sight seeing for him. He enjoyed reading and Sci-fi movies, but his favorite of all was going to Red Lobster. He loved getting out and about. But you couldn’t catch him sitting too long, after a while out whether it be going to the park or grocery shopping which he did himself until the very end, or going for a long car ride he’d say, “I’m ready to go home.” He loved his family and even while his health was failing, he always asked how every body was doing and to tell them he said hi. Uncle Dan was more a father to some of us. He will be greatly missed, but the Bible states to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So as we say farewell. We know its only temporary because we’ll see him again. We love you Uncle Dan. Daniel leaves to cherish his memories on sister-in-law Helen Clark and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Humbly submitted, his Family
