Daniel Bartholomew Farrell, age 78, was born on March 30, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to Elizabeth (nee Fergus) and Joseph Farrell Sr. (both deceased) and passed away peacefully surrounded by his grandkids, wife and daughter in the comfort of his home on February 22, 2025. Proud Navy Veteran, Coast Guard instructor, former Pepsi employee. Daniel is the beloved husband for over 52 years of Carol Ann Farrell. Cherished father of Andrew Jelito, Melanie (Keith) Farrell, and Kevin (Kayla) Farrell. Proud Papa to Elizabeth, Michael, Ava and Ariel. Dear brother of Joseph (Ginny) Farrell Jr. (both deceased), Edward Farrell (deceased), Robert (Linda) Farrell and Neal (Marie) Farrell. He will be remembered for his unwavering kindness to people. He loved to joke around and be sarcastic. He loved his family, as he was a true patriot and family man. He had a passion of collecting sail boats, ships, glass lighthouses and even birds such as parrots, over the course of his life. Lastly, of course, he was proud to be Irish. Family will receive friends and relatives, Friday February 28th 2025, from 9 -10am at Historic Saint Patrick Catholic Church 3602 Bridge Ave. Cleveland Ohio 44113. Where Funeral Mass will follow at 10am at Saint Patricks. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
