Words can't express my feeling the last week or so. I talked to Brother Rush about a week prior to his passing. He shared words that I will never forget as he always has. He will be missed by many who knew and loved Daryl P. Rush. What I will miss is that deep voice saying " Have you looked at all sides of the issue". What will keep me going is the last words he said to me was " God Bless You". May the good Lord continue to wrap the family is his arms!!!!

Rush family, my deepest sympathy on your loss.  Daryl was a great friend, loved by all who knew him. We lost touch until recently, but never lost our bond.  Daryl's deep voice was unmistakable, but his soft spoken leadership was that of a truly respected gentleman.  Remembering the great times we had as young college students/grads and taking pride in watching him grow to touch so many lives in such positive ways. I know he'll be doing great things in Heaven.

Daryl looked so good at the family reunion that it was quite a surprise to hear of his passing. My immediate thought was "to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD." We know we will see him again. May "the peace that passes all understanding" comfort all of you through this period of mourning.
