January 16, 1950 – January 20, 2023

Dave Cooper, age 73, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. Son of Arnie Cooper and Ruth Major (nee Cottam) both deceased.
Dearly beloved husband of 53 years and high school sweetheart to Lois (nee Dimmick), loving father of John (Jane) and Tim (Amber), dearest grandfather of Kirsten, Zac, Gracie, and Drew, dear brother of Jeff (deceased) and Jim (Elaine), dearest uncle and friend of many. Yeoman Chief Petty Officer Cooper served in the United States Navy for 22 and a half years. Dave was a faithful member of Cleveland Baptist Church, serving as a deacon, choir member, and drove Church Bus 9 for 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, watching the Indians, Browns, and Ohio State football. He loved spending quality time with his family and granddogs Buddy and Coco.
Family will receive friends Thursday 10 - 11 AM at Cleveland Baptist Church 4431 Tiedeman Rd. Brooklyn, Ohio 44144. Where Services will be held 11 AM.
Committal Services with Full Military Honors will be held at 1:30 PM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
