Another anniversary went by hurts so bad without you here.  Not one day goes by that I don't remember something we did together or something you said.   I wish we had longer together (like forever) but that is not what the good Lord had planned.

It only gets harder.  It has been a year since you left me but to me it feels like yesterday.  It has been the worse year of my life.  I wish you knew what i have been put through since you have been gone.  Oh I know you will take care of it like you always did.  God has a way of taking care of his, and I know you are in his ear right now.  I know I was your number one as you were mine.  They say time heals all but cant say i believe that.  For now I all can tell you is that I'm living in hell without you.  I take one day at a time and hope tomorrow will get a little easier. Junior & Jason,

I pray to God you guys see this. It was brought to my attention today 6/13/18 that your father passed away as I was looking at my daughters Facebook & Junior you came up on people she may know list. My heart is heavy with sorrow as I mourn the news of your dads passing. What a wonderful childhood and many many great memories I forever carry in my heart of your father & all the good times we had with him as children. I always felt like the daughter he didn’t have when we were young. I remember Blue Thunder, I remember when he’d open the hydrant for us Walton kids, I remember him and my dad having their beers together, I remember the laughter that poured out of his mouth & the discipline he instilled in us all. We respected David like we respected our dad because my dad said discipline my kids by any means necessary if you have to and that he did.  The village it took to raise us kids during those times was the foundation he along with my father provided & instilled in us to be the parents we are today.  I’ve missed you all so much throughout the years & speak of you all often. Him as well. I’m just so heart broken and I’m so sorry my family and I were not made aware of his passing and did not attend his funeral. My dad is devastated to say the least & I want to extend our deepest condolences from the Roman family to you both, your brothers, his wife, grandchildren, family and friends.  My heart is heavy as this is new news to me. We love you all so very much and if you see this, please shoot me an email at msjro13@gmail.com. Pasty as I write this, I'm saying a prayer for your strength. David was so much a part of our family for so many years. I remember him hanging over the fence talking to my mom and dad when he was just a young boy. We love you guys. He will be missed by a lot of people. My condolences to you Patsy and family.  You and David were so kind to me when I moved to the neighborhood.  I will always appreciate you both.  You are in my thoughts.

Many Many memories that I could share but I will share a few from my family. My mother Elba Colon shares a story of David always hanging out at her house with my uncles back in the day. She said one time her heater went out in the middle of winter and David went back to his house and grabbed his tools and fixed it for them. My uncle shares a story of David teaching him how to drive back in the 70"S. David himself also told me a story about my aunt Milly. He said she was the only women he knew that could make a pot of rice and pork chops in 10 minutes. Our families have known each other for generations and so we grieve with the Pedro family. Please except my condolences and prayers during this time.
