

Derrick Salim Rahman, 58, was born on April 13, 1968, and passed away on July 1, 2026. Derrick will be remembered as a beloved and cherished presence—steadfast in his devotion to those he loved, and quietly inspirational through a life marked by hard work, compassion, and a kind heart.
Derrick served in the Marines, carrying forward a sense of duty and commitment that shaped the way he moved through the world. In every season of life, he approached his responsibilities with diligence and care, offering support with a steady generosity that made others feel seen and valued.
Away from daily obligations, Derrick found joy in the simple, grounding pleasures of time spent outside. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and he especially loved the outdoors and camping—interests he shared with his family, who also loved being out in nature together. Those moments reflected the warmth and tenderness he brought to the people closest to him, creating memories rooted in togetherness and quiet contentment.
A Janaza Prayer will be held at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112, on July 25, 2026, at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
