

Donte' was the beloved first son of Crystal and Darrell K. Davis born March 13, 1990 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Donte' is survived younger brother Daniel Denzell Barber. Donte' attended Empire Compu Tech and Glenville High School and later successfully achieved his GED.
Donte' played all sports but loved football the best. He participated in the Cleveland Muny League Football for a number of years playing the position of right and left tackle.
Donte' accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized and a member of Cory United Methodist Church his entire life.
He was a hard worker and did several jobs as a construction worker, factory worker and detailing cars.
He loved reading and he was always writing music, drawing and joking, around. He participated in mentoring program for the" 100 Black Men' of Greater Cleveland under the leadership of Dr. Earnest Smooth and Mr. Curtis (Griggs).
He was a member of the Cory Junior Usher Board under the leadership of Mrs. Ada McCants and Mrs. Jackie Gardner, also was a part of the Youth Choir and participated in programs produced by Mrs. Ada Norwood.
He attended the Relation School of the Arts and received certificate of recognition from Relation School of The Arts for outstanding performance and participation in music by Elder Kenneth R. Wilson and Sharon J. Colden. Donte' played the clarinet and performed at various churches, he also attended art classes at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
He enjoyed traveling to various locations for family reunions and pleasure with _grand2arents Donald and Delores Davis: Sacramento/San Francisco, Las V«:!gas, Mobile, Alabama, Niagara Falls, Columbus and the Hills of West Virginia to spend time with great-grandparents Walter and Rosa Taylor, he also spent time with grandparents Joyce (Roosevelt) Beard in Birmingham, Alabama.
Donte' leaves behind to mourn his untimely passing his mother Crystal, father Darrell, one daughter Zayanna Johnson brother Daniel, uncles, Larry Taylor (Jessica) Dana Davis Sr. (Carla), Victor Barber, aunts Veronica Barber, Angela Barber, Mary Taylor, Effie Taylor, Sadie Taylor, Grandmother Delores M. Davis (known as Grandma "Dee") 2 nephews, [av'mir Mason Owens, Joh'Mir Mason Owens and one niece, Da'Leah Whitten and many cousins and lots of friends. Let us not forget Mrs. Sarah Lovejoy the "African Queen" who baby sat and taught him now to play the drums in her children's group.
