Eletha O. Hill peacefully fell asleep in the Lord Monday July 26, 2021.
She was preceded in death Robert Hill (husband), Thomas Fuqua (father),
Mary Fuqua (mother), Siblings; Louise Hallman, Annie Jackson, Edward
Fuqua, Nathan Fuqua, Tome Fuqua, Riyan Flowers (great granddaughter).
She leaves to cherish these precious memories; two sons Rodney Fuqua
of Cleveland, Ohio Demetrius (Princie) of Dayton, Ohio. Two daughters
Mary Milton of Dawsonville, Georgia, Sandra Sanders of Cleveland, Ohio.
Grandchildren Madaral (Tameka), Samuel (Melissa), Rodneisha, Cornell.
Stephanie (Nadira, Alexis, Michael, Asia and Julian. Great grandchildren,
Stephan, Mekhi, Nayla and Zion. Brother John (Elizabeth) Fuqua of
Dayton, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and
friends.
Eletha supervised at University Hospital in the Nutritional Service
Department until she retired in the early 2000’s.
Mother Hill confessed hope in Christ at an early age until God called her
home. She diligently served as a faithful servant/soilder in God’s Army on
the Nurse’s Guild, Mother’s Board, Usher’s Board and part of the Queen’s
Ministry.
All while at United Faith Missionary Baptist Church, under Pastor Tyrone
Davis. She also did countless hours of community service, lending a helpful
hand wherever there was a need.
Mother Fuqua loved her church, her Pastor, and her fellow Christians. Her
Love, Joy, Peace, and Feistiness endeared her to all who knew her. Her love
and inspiration made her family members adore her.
Eletha will definitely be missed, but she is free. To be absent from the body
is to be present with the Lord.
She enjoyed family gatherings, church functions, she just enjoyed being in
charge and surrounded by LOVE.
