To the entire Goodman family, I never had the pleasure of meeting Brother Elijah Goodman but based on what I hear he was an outstanding hard working family man, and a man of his community and the Jehovah Witnesses. Once again to the family God bless each and every one of you. With love sincerely Kelly C Parker...

Dear Goodman Family,
We have many good memories of Elijah. I wanted to share this picture of our trip to bethel with Eula and Elijah in 2019. This is lobby of Paterson NY. We all had such a good time; we'll enjoy association with Elijah again, in the new world to come, just around the corner. Rev.21:4.

I was in Elijah’s car group on Saturday the day before Claire was born, so I was very pregnant, and he would tell the story of how we worked together in service, then I went to the mall and walked some more, and that night went into labor! Elijah and Eula were a wonderful example for our children growing up in the congregation.

Elijah was a wonderful brother and we are so looking forward to seeing him again, when Jesus and Jehovah call him back. Please take comfort in knowing Elijah is in the safest place he can be right now, Jehovah's Memory.
May Jehovah's loving arms continue to comfort you until you are reunited!

Eula and family, it was such a shock when I received a call about my sweet Brother Elijah. He was, always there for the us greeting us at the Kingdom Hall full of Joy and fun. He would always make me laugh. I would be out in the car with him and Eula and the rest of the sisters on field service. We would laugh, so much our stomach would hurt.
Eula, when things get quiet at home you just remember me Eileen, I will be in touch and make you smile again.
We will see him soon,.it won't be long!
I love you my sister, I will see you very soon.

My dear friend. My Elijah. I was his number one girl. I was his Molly. If I could just hear one more time, that gravelly southern drawl "that's my Molly, she's my girl, my number one..." Since I can't have an Elijah shoulder hug now, I'm going to meet my dear Elijah with a couple bikes and we are going to ride all over the new earth, exploring paradise. He was the best man, the best husband, father and friend. For as long as I can remember, he was my friend. And he was a friend to Jehovah. He did good. He was a Good Man, about to go to pioneer school!! He never quit. Now he rests while we miss him and cry for him. But we know he wants us to take after him and be happy and smiling and encouraging and fully accomplish our ministry. So that's what we'll do. I love you so much Eula, we love you just so very, very, very much. Can't wait to wrap our arms around you and laugh and cry and laugh some more. We love you so much.

To the Goodman family,
Martha and I dearly love all of you. We do have some wonderful memories. ine in particular was that you folks had the 40th wedding anniversary for my parents at your home on W. 130th St. Hard to imagine they would’ve been married 75 years this month. You folks are very special and have been dear friends and so kind to us. We will greatly miss that smile and laugh of your dear Elijah.

To My Family,
I write this with great sadness. Uncle Elijah you will be truly missed. I will always remember and miss your jokes, but the main thing will be your smile. You light up a room with your smile. Those moments will stay with me for the rest of my life.
To my family (Aunt Eula and cousins) may God be with you and cover you all with his love and blessing always and especially during this time of sadness.
I Love you!

Elijah was such a very dear friend to myself and Raette. We loved the whole family and were fond of them when we lived in Cleveland. I can remember having book study and field service at their home in the basement for many years. We always loved goodie night after the book study, as some of the best food we had was prepared by the family! We will see you soon brother, in paradise!!
