Forrestine O'Neal

Forrestine O'Neal a.k.a. Stine was born in Cleveland, OH on June 1, 1960 to the late Lorine O'Neal Brown and the late Stanley P. Brown. She attended The Cleveland Public School District, graduating from East Technical High School in 1978 and went on to further her education attending Ohio State University.

Forrestine worked at Grant Hospital in Columbus, OH where she lived until 1993. She loved dancing, singing and listening to old skool music. She enjoyed life and being with her two daughters and grandchildren. She was a good and faithful servant caring for her mother when her mother fell ill and no longer able to care for herself and she did so without complaint.

Stine’s health took a turn in June of 2020. She was very strong and never gave up. Stine was a God fearing woman who deeply believed the word of God and he walked with her every step of the way.

Forrestine O’Neal departed this life on August 26, 2023.

She leaves to mourn two daughters, Tamika Pryor and Shaniqua Pryor; two granddaughters Ne’Raiyah Penson and Solace Penson; two grandsons Premiere Hicks and Zay’Viere Montgomery; three sisters Bernadine O’Neal, Doris O’Neal and Patricia Dobson; three brothers Stanley Brown Jr., Anthony Brown, and Jeffrey Brown, two uncles Terry O’Neal and Roger Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death is a son, Cameron Pryor and a brother Alvin O’Neal.

A visitation for Forrestine will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A wake will occur Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. An interment evergreen cemetery will occur.
