Frank Camarda, 89, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Born in Cleveland to the late Vincent and Rosemary (Corolla) Camarda, Frank lived a life rooted in family, faith, hard work, and love of country.
Frank was the devoted husband of the late Mildred (Polowitz) Camarda, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories. He was a proud and loving father to Daniel Camarda, Frankie Camarda, Timothy Camarda, Sharon (Donald) Lappin, and David Camarda. Nothing brought Frank greater joy than his family. He was a cherished grandfather to Jennifer Camarda, Jeffery Camarda, Samantha Camarda, and Brianna Koenig-Camarda, and a deeply proud great-grandfather to Jaycob and Isabella.
Frank was a dear brother to Rosemary Camarda and was reunited in heaven with his siblings Joseph, Vincent, Anthony, Phillip, Michael, and Caroline. He was a beloved uncle, a loyal friend, and a steady presence to all who knew him.
A proud U.S. Army veteran and skilled pipe fitter, Frank believed deeply in honoring his country. His love for America was evident in the respect he showed the U.S. flag, which he proudly displayed inside and outside his home. He was equally proud of his Italian—especially Sicilian—heritage and carried those traditions close to his heart.
Frank found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan and loved watching classic western movies. Above all, he will be remembered for his strong values, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland. Funeral services will be held there on Thursday at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland.
Frank’s legacy of love, pride, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
